We are fortunate to have a team of dedicated and talented staff who are relentless in solving complex scientific problems. The team had a well-deserved and fun Field Day upon completion of a technically challenging project.

We were happy to participate in the groundbreaking of the new FITCI’s innovation center. This significant accomplishment highlights the hard work of Kathie Callahan Brady and other community leaders supporting innovation and entrepreneurship.

IPS Staff Celebrating Halloween

The 2022 Fort Detrick Alliance and FITCI Tech Showcase was a huge success. FITIC Provides space, mentorship, and various resources for entrepreneurs. We had the opportunity to showcase and network with representatives from Industry, Academia and the Government.

We are proud of our dedicated and laser-focused Phage Scientists who are striving every day to make a difference in the fight against antibiotic resistant pathogens.

World Phage Week (Oct. 22 - Oct. 28) is commemorating Frederick Twort who discovered phages in 1915. We acknowledge and appreciate all the scientists who promote phage therapeutics.

Happy 2022 International Microbiology Day!

Our Team had the opportunity to present their research findings at the Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS). We were happy to meet many of our collaborators in person. MHSRS provided a great learning platform on the latest healthcare related research.

We will be at MHSRS in Kissimmee, Florida (September 12-15). Contact us to schedule a meeting. We can help with advancement of novel diagnostic and therapeutics for infectious diseases.

August 26 is Women's Equality Day. This is to commemorate the day in 1920 granting American women the constitutional right to vote.  Today, more than 40% of All American Small Businesses are Women-Owned. We have come a long way!

We would like to welcome our three new team members. Faith Swicegood, Casey Merritt and Dr. Sully who are conducting research on advancement of novel therapeutics and diagnostics.

According to CDC “Sexually Transmitted Disease Surveillance, 2020 serves as a reminder that STDs remain a significant public health concern, even in the face of a pandemic”. Effective therapeutic and diagnostic technologies for these hard-to-treat pathogens are urgently needed.

IPS was an exhibitor at Rockville Science Day. It was a great opportunity to promote scientific interest in our community.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mothers, Grandmothers and all the women in our lives who care and unconditionally love us. 

It was a pleasure to host Biotechnology students from Universities at Shady Grove. Students had the opportunity to tour the lab and discuss internship and career opportunities. It was a day of celebrating the next Generation of our biotechnology professionals.

Our staff were at Uniformed Services University for Salman Izadjoo’s PhD Public Defense. He received his training in Molecular & Cell Biology under the great mentorship of Dr. Barrington Burnett. We can’t wait to have a Uniformed Services University graduate join our team.

The Innovation Competition at George Washington University was a great event sponsored by GW’s Technology Commercialization Office (TCO). Dr. Mina Izadjoo served as a judge. The University Faculty and students showcased their innovative technologies.  Kudos to the TCO and Brian Coblitz for organizing this impactful event. Congratulations to all the participating innovators and the cash prize winners.

It has been a busy week for Integrated Pharma Services at the 2022 WUWHS in Abu Dhabi. We are proud of our team for their nine presentations on wound care and antimicrobial technologies.

IPS team is presenting seven posters and two talks at the 2022 WUWHS Conference in Abu Dhabi. This is a Great International Platform to share the latest research in wound care.

Integrated Pharma Services was a member of delegation from Maryland participating in the largest healthcare event in the Middle East. There was a strong presence of Maryland women-owned businesses at Arab Health. We would like to thank Department of Commerce for the opportunity to exhibit at a conference with 60,000 visitors from 50 countries.
